Storyboards for Infographics?
Knowing how to tell your story well visually, while balancing the time / cost / quality equation, is a skill learned over time. Understanding which things are easy to do in Flash and which are hard will help you create storyboards that give you the best solution. Since cost is often a very real constraint, knowing how to storyboard wisely can save you time while maintaining your quality that has been produced by an infographic company.
For instance, instead of having a character walk through the scene in a wide shot (where you show the entire character) you can storyboard a medium shot where you show the character from the waist up. It may not take much longer to storyboard one version over the other, but when it comes time to animate the scene, the time required to animate the latter option could save hours. Limiting costume changes is another thing you can do to reduce your workload. If you are using the same character from scene to scene, it is always more efficient to use the same library elements.
